2026 High School Mission Trip to Atlanta
Mission Trip Details
- Who: Students who just finished 9th-12th grade
- When: June 13-19, 2026
- Where: Atlanta, GA
- What we will be doing: A VBS for low-income/immigrant children, learning about other worldviews, and helping serve in various ways at the ministry center
- Cost: $390 ($350 if you have more than one child going on either summer youth trip).
$195 of this is due by April 1 and the final $195 (or $155 if more than one child) is due by June 1. Students will also need money for 2 meals + any souvenir/snack money.

Mission Work Overview and More Details
Church & Ministry Partners: - Servant Life - Whirlwind Missions - First Baptist Doraville -North American Mission Board
Lodging: Rehoboth Church in Tucker, GA (bunk beds and showers there)
Pre-Trip Schedule: - Wednesday, April 23: Mission Team Meeting after The Den from 7:30-8:00 PM - June 2-5: Serve at VBS from 9:00-12:00 PM - Monday-Tuesday, June 2-3: Team Training after VBS from 1:00-3:00 PM - Thursday, June 5: Final Mission Team Meeting from 6:00-8:00 PM (parents present at 7:30 PM)
Trip Schedule: - Saturday, June 13—Travel Day - Sunday, June 14—Worship, begin serving, fun time - Monday-Thursday, June 15-18—Serve all day in various ways - Friday, June 19—Fun activity in Atlanta and return home
Safety: This community has hosted dozens of mission teams over the years and they have never had any problems. We will always be with staff members of the church and missions organization who will ensure the safety of all.
Transportation: We will be taking the church minibuses (4ish hour drive)
Chaperone Needs: We would like to take at least 5 adults on this trip. Chaperones go at no cost (they are just required to pay for the same 2 meals the students must bring money for). If you would like to go, please contact Russell ASAP as there are a limited number of spots.
Scholarships: There are partial scholarships available. Please contact Russell if you are interested.
