Ladies Night Out
What: Ladies come together for a much needed break and lots of fun! Every month an activity is chosen for all women to come, kick back, and enjoy each other’s company!

Shades of REaD
What: Fellow Booklovers come together for a Christian Book Club. Every month a book will be chosen to read and discuss. Also every month you will have the opportunity to share a book you have read from Central’s Library. This is a wonderful way to share what you love with others! How You can become involved: Contact Patty for the book they are reading this month and the date they will be meeting.
When: 1st Thursday of every month

Women on Mission (WOM)
What: WOM is a group of Ladies that meets once a month and engages in mission awareness and activeness. WOM offers many opportunities to fulfill the six objectives that are at the heart of missions education: Pray for Missions, Engage in Mission Action and Witnessing , Learn About Missions, Support Missions, Develop Spiritually Toward a Missions Lifestyle, and Participate in the Work of the Church and Denomination. Every year a mission project is adopted, and church ministries are assisted each month.
When: 10am every 3rd Tuesday, August-May

American Heritage Girls:
What: American Heritage Girls is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity through service to God, family, community and country. The organization offers badge programs, service projects, girl leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences to its members. It serves as a catalyst for building young women of integrity and faith. It also broadens girl’s social development through extra-curricular activities. Girls ages 5-18 years.
How You can become involved: Volunteer to be a Leader’s Helper.

Back Yard Bible Club:
BYBC is a ministry started under the direction of the NCC. Neighborhood children meet for a snack, games, and Bible lessons each week. Many Children have given their life to Christ through this ministry!
How You can become involved: Volunteer your time to help teach, pick up children, help with snacks or just be available to help with crowd control. Snack supplies are also needed on occasion. When: Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30pm

LIFE House Food Pantry
What: LIFE House is a ministry of Central Baptist Church. We are dedicated to supplementing the food supplies of individuals and families who are in need. It is our privilege to share the love and hope of Jesus Christ.
How You can become involved: Donations are accepted at several drop off points throughout the church; you may also bring donations to LIFE House during business hours. Monetary donations can be placed in the offertory plate with the memo line LIFE house. You can also volunteer your time to help out!

Neighborhood Christian Center, NCC
What: The mission of the Neighborhood Christian Center’s is to provide compassionate, Christ-
centered ministry by building healthier families, strengthening communities, and meeting the practical and spiritual needs of the poor and people from all walks of life.
How You Can Become Involved: You can donate your time by volunteering at the NCC, or donating clothing or food items, or monetary donations are accepted. For more information check out their website at decaturncc.org.

What: Cans for Kids is a program that provides low-income children with weekend meals during the school year. Children, selected by school officials & after school programs, receive a bag containing food for the weekend.
How You can become involved: Donations are always needed. Pop top cans of soups, pastas or anything a child would eat, snacks, drinks, easy breakfast items can be placed in the basket next to the Women’s table. Monetary donations are also accepted. Contact Susan for Packing times.
