CENTRAL ONLINE
A WEEKLY TIE UPDATE
SEPTEMBER 21, 2010
Thank You from Lawn & Garden
We would like to thank everyone who helped Saturday with our
workday. A lot was accomplished that couldn’t have been done without
your help! Thanks to about 100 people – it all looks great! We got
the mission storage shed fixed up, most of the pavilion (former
greenhouse) done, and lots of lawn work done. When the outside looks
attractive, it will draw more people to the inside. Again, thank
you, and pray for rain!

TRAPPED IN DARKNESS, SAVED BY GRACE
Author and Speaker, Rick Derrick
This Sunday, September 25, 6:00 pm
Don’t miss this opportunity to hear this testimony of God’s grace
and love.
BE A GOOD STEWARD
Various committees are writing the church budget for the coming
year. They are placing their trust in God and believing in our
members and friends to support the church’s ministry. Let us all
show our faithfulness with good stewardship through our time,
talents, and treasures.
PRESCHOOL & CHILDREN
Our next preschool play date is next Monday, September 27. We'll
meet at Petco at 10:00 am to tour the store and see all the animals.
Afterwards you are welcome to join us for lunch at Chick-Fil-A.
Parents, we have a special night planned just for you! We are having
a Parents' Night Out on Friday, October 1, from 6:00 until 9:30 pm.
Drop your kids off at church, and go enjoy a few hours together!
We'll have dinner for the kids, a movie, and plenty of play time.
The cost is $5 per child, and the proceeds will go to our youth to
go on a mission trip to Dominican Republic. Please sign up at the
check-in desk.
We are gearing up for our annual fall festival on October 30, which
will be the Hallelujah Hoedown! This is a huge event in which we
reach out to our community, and we need your help! We need workers,
baked goods for a cake walk, and LOTS of candy! Please see Lisa
Denson or Tracy Glenn to get involved.
