“Where Children Are Special” 

Welcome! 

We warmly welcome you to the Preschool Ministry of Central Baptist Church.  We hope to give you a glimpse inside the Preschool and Children’s Ministries by providing information to make your attendance at Central feel familiar and comfortable.  Preschoolers are special little people entrusted to us for a time. 

Our Goal:

“Our goal is to provide each child  care and age appropriate spiritual training that will build concepts of church, God and Jesus."

Our Prayer:

“Our prayer for our children is for each child to have a Christian home in which to grow, and for understanding and cooperation between church and home as we work together for the good of each child.”

Our Verse:

“Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14 (NLT)

During the time we care for and minister to your preschooler we emphasize the five attributes of God: 

  • God is love.

  • God is forgiving.

  • God is with us.

  • God is faithful.

  • God is mighty.

Younger Preschool involves children from birth through three years of age.  Care is provided for babies, birth through age 3, by a combination of paid staff and church member volunteers.  Church member volunteers teach three year olds.

Classes are divided according along developmental lines.  As all children develop at different rates, age is not a factor in placement.  Classes are designated for Bed Babies, Creepers and Crawlers, Walkers and 2 year olds.
