Where are you located?
Central Baptist is located at 2801 Hwy 31 South, Decatur, AL. We are on the corner of 6th Ave (Hwy 31) and Cedar Lake Rd in Southeast Decatur.

What Time Should I Come?
Central has two distinct Sunday morning services.  Our 8:15 a.m Classic service is a traditional service with hymns while our 10:30 a.m. Connect service is more contemporary with praise music. Both services feature the same message from Dr. Rob Jackson, our Pastor.  Nursery for children birth-3 yrs is provided for both services and Children's Church for children 4+ is available during the 10:30 service.

Small group Sunday School is a great way to get connected with others in our fellowship. These small groups take place between our 8:15 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services and begin at 9:20 a.m.

Our single Sunday evening service begins at 6:00 p.m.

Wednesday evening services and activities begin at 4:45 p.m. with family supper. Worship starts at 6:00 p.m. and we have separate activities and services for adults, youth, children, and preschoolers. Stop by the welcome center for information and locations.

What is available for my children/youth?

What should I expect at Central Baptist?
You will find Central Baptist to be a friendly church that will make a real difference in your families' lives. We want you to gain something significant, so our services are planned to help you in your daily life journey. The music and messages are engaging in a way to help you to connect your life to Bible truths.

How will I know where to go when I get to Central Baptist?
Park in the special guest parking by the fountain on Hwy 31.  As you come in the front door, please let one of our ministry volunteers know you are visiting with us and you and your family will be lead to the appropriate place.

I am not sure about attending a big church.
Although Central Baptist has several hundred attending each Sunday, we continue to foster a friendly environment. We continue to grow larger, but we do so by growing smaller through our small group Sunday School.

What do I wear?
Come as you are. We have those from casual to dressy. You will feel welcomed.
