LIBRARY NEWS

HOLIDAY LIBRARY HOURS

The library will be closed from December 23 – January 1.

It will be open on Sundays and Wednesday evenings

during that time.

CHRISTMAS MEDIA

A listing of all Christmas books, videos, and DVDs

for all ages from your library may be picked up in the

library or on the table in front of the escalator. These two

sheets (back and front) contain wonderful reading and

viewing for the entire family.  Use your library to fill those

cold days during this Christmas season.

HODGES MINISTRY

The library is the collection center for materials given

to the Hodges Ministry which sends it to other countries.

Bring your outdated literature, units of study, Bible

teaching helps, etc. to be placed in boxes for that

purpose.

GIFTS TO THE LIBRARY

are most appreciated. Several library patrons regularly

donate new books.  If we have them already, we donate

them to other church libraries or to Hodges Ministry,

whichever is appropriate.

WANTED!!!

More of our church people using their library—reading,

watching DVD’s, etc.  Go to our church website and

use the online catalog. www.cbcdecatur.org and then

getconnected” and “library.” You can search the

catalog by author, title, subject, etc. and know whether

or not we have it and if it is in. Come to the library and

give us a pin number and you can also check to see

what you have checked out and when it is due.

FREE GREETING CARDS

of various types are available in the library for your

church groups. A new supply of birthday cards have

been added. (Fellows, if you forget that anniversary card

for your wife, we can help you out with that, too.)

LOST AND FOUND

A large number of Bibles have been found and are in the

library—several have Bible jackets. The collection also

contains jewelry and other objects.
