Plan of Salvation How you can have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. We use the acrostic………FLOW, the flow of the Holy Spirit.
F-Fellowship-We were made for fellowship with God. We have all sinned. The Bible says in ROMANS 3:23, 6:23a, For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and the wages of sin is death.
L-Love-JOHN 3:16 says For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whosoever (that is you and me) believes in Him will have eternal life. This is a gift from God; but we have to be willing to accept this gift. If I were in a desert, hot and thirsty, and you gave me a glass of water, I would have to drink that water to quench my thirst. It is the same with Jesus; you must receive/accept His gift.
O-Obedience-Repent
of your sins; turn to God. ROMANS 2:8 says, But for those who are
self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey
unrighteousness, there will be wrath and fury. MATT 3:2 “Repent ye:
for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
W-Worship-2
COR. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a
new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have
become new. If you do not have a desire to do the things of Christ, such as be in church, be in God’s Word, to be like Jesus, worship Him, sing His praises, then you need to pray to receive Him and accept His gift of eternal life.
